The Alternative Certification Program allows
first-year teachers to earn certification within one year while teaching.
The program includes coursework totaling 25 credit hours. It requires
a bachelor's degree in your content area, employment, and a 2.5 GPA.
Certification is available in Secondary Education or Middle School
Education.
